It is a domestic-only airport served by IndiGo and Fly91, with direct routes to Bengaluru (the busiest route, ~21 flights/week), Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi, and Goa. A new, larger terminal is under construction and expected to open by end-2026. Taxis from the airport to the city centre take 15–20 minutes; NWKRTC buses offer a budget option at ₹15–40.
